How to upgrade your Navicat?

If you want to upgrade installed copy of Navicat PostgreSQL to the latest release, please submit your registered email address on the upgrade page at:

http://support.navicat.com/upgrade.php

Please install the latest version into current Navicat Installation folder, it will replace your previous Navicat PostgreSQL. However, your current settings will be remained unchanged.

Upgrading from version 7.x or below to 8.x

We have made significant changes to Navicat! The result is that profiles created from version 7.x or below are stored in Windows registry will now be kept as physcial file, under Navicat Installation folder - Settings Save Path by default.

Using Profile Converter

The easiest way to convert your profiles is to use the Navicat Profile Converter program, which will be automatically run while you first activate Navicat 8.x after upgraded. Profile Converter can be launched from the Navicat installation folder, e.g. C:\Program Files\PremiumSoft\Navicat PostgreSQL

Note: Profiles will not be saved in Windows registry anymore.
